Rain washes away Sonal’s flight plan

The lissome lass had gone to the Capital to open a jewellery store the other day, and was hoping to return to Mumbai by the 4 pm flight, but rain played the spoilsport.

Now, a dost from Delhi has buzzed to give me this tidbit on Sonal Chauhan. For the ill-informed, she’s the one-film-wonder who disappeared after a hit debut in Jannat opposite Emraan Hashmi. But that’s not deterring people from calling her to launch some or the other store.

Bechari Sonal got delayed by the traffic jams on the wet wet roads and ended up missing her flight. Predictably, she threw a major tantrum and apparently told the organisers that she wasn’t going to spend the night in Delhi, come what may.

Thank God for small mercies, the organisers were able to get a seat for her in the next flight and that was enough to pacify the agitated actress (?). Really now!
