were seen together at social events this past week. Former actress Sangeeta Bijlani was invited by ex-beau Salman Khan for the birthday bash of siblings Arbaaz and Arpita Khan. It was recently reported that Bijlani and husband, former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin were facing marital discord. When asked about his current rapport with Sangeeta, Salman laughed, “She was my…(girlfriend) long ago, now she is just a dear friend.”

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s wife Twinkle Khanna was spotted at director Abhishek Kapoor’s (Gattu) birthday party. Twinkle and Abhishek were reportedly seeing each other when they worked together in the 1997 movie Uff! Yeh Mohabbat. The party was organised by Gattu’s friend at the director’s Bandra house.

Interesting, neither Twinkle nor Sangeeta were accompanied by their husbands for these events.
