hitmaker then took to Twitter to show evidence of the burn to her 1.2 million followers.

"New hair....new curling iron BURN...damn 5head always in the way (sic)," she tweeted.

The '5head' is Rihanna's humorous way of referring to her rather large forehead and she managed to fix her hair before performing at the New York State Fair last night.

Apart from random beauty accidents, things seem to be going exceptionally well for the Barbadian beauty.

Rihanna recently tied with Mariah Carey, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce for the most number one songs on the pop airplay chart.

Her song Love the Way You Lie is her sixth number one.
