R&B singer Rihanna was rushed to a hospital to get treated for an injured rib after performing at a concert in Zurich, Switzerland.

Rihanna was rushed into a hospital after performing in front of a sold out crowd at the Hallenstadion venue in Zurich. She was taken to the hospital by her driver, bodyguard and personal assistant and checked into the emergency room.

People.com reports that her representative said she "had an injured rib and went to have it looked at to be sure it was nothing serious, and it wasn't". The 22-year-old remained in the hospital for over two-and-a-half-hours on April 19 and was then taken back to the venue.
