Actor Salman Khan will have to appear before a Sessions Court in Mumbai tomorrow, in the 2002 hit-and-run case. The actor had driven his car into people sleeping on a pavement in Bandra in 2002, killing one person, and injuring four. The case will be heard against the actor on charges of ‘culpable homicide not amounting to murder.’ If charged, the 47-year-old actor could get a prison term of upto 10 years. Meanwhile, Salman, who was in the US last week, for a medical check-up, following an operation for neuralgia (a problem in facial nerves) two years ago, has been given a clean chit by the doctors there. They have said that Salman is fit and fine and that he does not need to undergo any more surgeries, as was the apprehension. He may however have to go back for another check-up, sources close to the actor said.
