Shah Rukh Khan injured his knee while promoting his much-awaited blockbuster, Happy New Year, reported a TV channel.
The injury, while minor, has resulted in a slight delay in the Delhi leg of the film's promotions. The 48-year-old actor arrived late for the press meet and in obvious discomfort. The press meet was attended by the rest of the film cast, including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Boman Irani, as well as the director of the film, Farah Khan.
Before the start of the press conference, Abhishek said that SRK had hurt his knee last night and is currently undergoing physiotherapy. The superstar arrived some time later.
When asked about the same, Shah Rukh said it was a minor sprain.
So far, the film has been promoted in several cities like Indore, Chennai and Ahmedabad, along with the SLAM tour in the US.
Having already worked on two major box office hits, Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, Shah Rukh and Farah are collaborating professionally again for Happy New Year, a heist comedy that is set to storm the theatres on Diwali.
Shah Rukh was earlier injured during the shooting of the film.
