Popstar Shakira was robbed while performing a concert in Mexico, when a fan reached out to shake her hand and snatched her ring.
The Colombian singer was walking among her fans when the incident happened and a video posted on Youtube shows Shakira's shocked reaction after she realised that her ring was taken.
Though body guards were seen following the 34-year-old singer, it appears from the video that they did not notice the concert robbery.
The Hips Don't Lie hitmaker however did not stop her performance and continued singing after the incident.
There is no word on the value of the missing ring though online reports suggest that it was a gift from her soccer-star boyfriend Gerard Pique.
No arrests have been made and the concert, at the University of Monterrey, was her last stop in Mexico.
