Charlize Theron is helping turn her native country, South Africa into a soccer Mecca in honour of the upcoming World Cup next year.
The Oscar winner’s Africa Outreach charity is raising cash to build soccer fields all over Africa, so rural kids will be able to kick a ball about.
“I love soccer and it’s great for Africa that we’re finally hosting it (World Cup). We’re so proud,” says the actress.
