Contrary to reports that actor Shah Rukh Khan was detained by customs officials at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport while returning from London on Thursday, a source in the customs department says the actor did not break any rules.

“He came to us on his own and said he had goods to declare, and paid a duty fee of Rs 1.5 lakh. It is wrong to say that he was fined,” says the source.

Shah Rukh Khan, 44, was on his way back with his family from a vacation in Holland and London. The actor was allegedly carrying over 20 bags.
