Sidharth says he reported video claiming he's dead, but got unexpected reply from YouTube
Actor Siddharth was sent a meme by his fans about a video claiming that he had 'died young'. Here's what he said about it.
Actor Siddharth has reacted to a video falsely saying that he is dead. A Twitter account brought the video to the actor's notice on Sunday.
Reacting to their tweet, Siddharth said that he had reported the video a few years ago but got an unhelpful reply from YouTube. "I reported to youtube about this video claiming I'm dead. Many years ago. They replied 'Sorry there seems to be no problem with this video'. Me : ada paavi," he wrote.
In the video, Siddharth is shown to be among a list of south stars who 'died young'. The video is shown to have four million views.
Siddharth is known for his work in films such as Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi, Jigarthanda and Sivappu Manjal Pachai. In Rang De Basanti, he was seen with Aamir Khan as freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
Recently, he tweeted about how he is called 'South ka Swara Bhasker' for being vocal about his political and social views. "Hindi speaking junta calling me south Ka @ReallySwara. Just to clarify...I would happily be Swara from anywhere or anytime. She's awesome and a cutie," he wrote in his tweet. Swara replied, saying, "You are India ka Siddharth and we are soooooo thankful for you! Also, hey Hottie."
Siddharth had also been called a 'school dropout' by a Twitter user. She had tweeted, "Who is this person? A school drop out may be ? I see him writing baseless stuff mostly provocative in nature." Siddharth reacted saying, "This lady badgered me for months to attend her panel discussion at ISB in 2009, which I did, along with @JP_LOKSATTA." He let her know that he was a post graduate.
Siddharth also shared screenshots of her email in which she had requested him to inaugurate her son’s art exhibition in 2013.
