Chiranjeevi visits veteran actor Kaikala Satyanarayana’s home to celebrate his birthday, shares pics
Like earlier years, Chiranjeevi visited the residence of Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana to celebrate his birthday with a cake-cutting ceremony.
Actor Chiranjeevi, who is busy with the shoot of his film Godfather, on Monday took out time and visited veteran Telugu actor Kaikala Satyanarayana at his residence in Hyderabad to celebrate his birthday. Chiranjeevi made Sathyanarayana, who is bed-ridden due to old-age related illness, cut a cake on the special occasion. The octogenarian actor can be seen visibly happy by the gesture in the pictures. Chiranjeevi has been visiting Satyanarayana on his birthday every year for quite some time now. He took to Instagram to share a note and some pictures from his visit. “It was sheer happiness visiting our Navarasa Natana Sarvabhouma Kaikala Satyanarayana garu and recalling some great moments down memory lane!! Here’s wishing him a very Happy Birthday. May the Almighty grant Kaikala Satyanarayana garu good health and joyous time with family and friends for many many years to come (sic),” Chiranjeevi posted.
In the comments section, fans hailed Chiranjeevi’s lovely gesture. One fan wrote: “You truly are an inspiration sir (sic).” Another fan commented: “You are simple humble sir. Megastar for a reason (sic).”
Last year, Sathyanarayana’s health worsened and he was hospitalised for a few days. Since the time he was discharged, he has been bed-ridden at home.
Satyanarayana, who has acted in over 750 films in his illustrious career spanning over four decades, was also a producer and director. He was active in politics for a few years and even served as an MP in the 11th Lok Sabha.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi’s last release Acharya turned out to be a huge disaster. The film, which also starred Ram Charan, was directed by Koratala Siva. Acharya was about a middle-aged Naxalite-turned-social reformer who launches a fight against the Endowments Department over misappropriation and embezzlement of temple funds and donations.
