Namrata Shirodkar wishes Mahesh Babu as she pens emotional birthday note, says 'you light up my world'

Happy birthday Mahesh Babu: As the Telugu actor turned 47 on Tuesday, wife Namrata Shirodkar wished him and wrote a sweet note on Instagram. The former Miss India and actor said she was looking forward to many ‘more crazy years' with the actor.

Mahesh Babu celebrated his 47th birthday on August 9. To mark the special day, his family and fans wished the actor in social media posts. However, Mahesh’s wife, former actor Namrata Shirodkar, shared the sweetest note on his birthday. Namrata shared a solo picture of the Telugu actor as she wrote he lights up her world ‘like nobody else’.

On Tuesday, Namrata Shirodkar wished Mahesh via an Instagram post. Sharing a photo of the actor, she wrote, “You light up my world like nobody else! Happy birthday MB (Mahesh Babu). Here's to many more crazy years together! Love you, now and always.” Mahesh and Namrata married on February 10, 2005, and are parents to daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni and son Gautham Ghattamaneni.

Actor Raveena Tandon commented on Namata's post, and wrote, “Happy Birthday Mahesh!” Actor Chunky Panday also shared his best wishes, and wrote, “Happy, happy birthday dear Mahesh.” Fans also wished the Telugu actor, with a person commenting on Namrata’s post, “Happy Birthday superstar.” Another one called the actor his ‘inspiration’ as he wished Mahesh.

As per reports, Mahesh will be celebrating his birthday with his family in Hyderabad. Meanwhile, many celebs took to their social media handles to wish him. Actor Riteish Deshmukh shared his birthday message for Mahesh on Instagram Stories along with a photo of the actor, and wrote, “Happy Birthday Mahesh, have a stupendous one! Wishing you happiness, love and good health.”

Meanwhile, to celebrate Mahesh’s birthday, a special screening of his 2003 film Pokiri and Okkadu has been arranged by his fans, as per a Pinkvilla report. Fans will reportedly donate the earnings from the special shows of Pokiri and Okkadu to a charity organisation.

Mahesh will soon begin work on SSMB28, helmed by Trivikram Srinivas. Earlier on Tuesday, the film’s makers tweeted, “Team SSMB28 wishes the magnetic and ever-charming personality with versatile acting skills, the swaggy superstar Mahesh Babu a very happy birthday. SSMB28 shoot commences soon!” Mahesh’s upcoming projects also include a pan-Indian film with director SS Rajamouli. In a recent interview with ETimes, Mahesh had said that working with the filmmaker was ‘a dream come true’ and he was ‘really excited’ about it.
