Popular South Indian actor Trisha Krishnan quashed rumours of her supposed secret engagement to producer businessman Varun Manian in a hush-hush ceremony. The actor who is currently shooting for untitled Telugu film with Balakrishna took to Twitter to clear the air.

On Monday, news broke out on Twitter that Trisha was engaged to Varun.

"Ola people. FYI I am NOT engaged! If n when I do, u will hear it from me first, Trisha tweeted late Monday night.

Not long ago, Trisha was linked-up with Telugu actor Rana Daggubati. They were seen together in several public gatherings together.

The 31-year old, who has been active in southern filmdom for over a decade, has worked with all the top stars including Vijay and Chiranjeevi.

She's is also shooting for Tamil actioner Yennai Arindhaal with Ajith Kumar.
