Veena Malik in visa trouble?

Even before it goes on the floors, Veena Malik’s Kannada version of The Dirty Picture is in trouble due to visa issues. Reports suggest that the heroine of Dirty Picture Sakath Hot Maga could not make it to the press meet in Bangalore on May 18 since the CBI wanted her to be present at their Bangalore office.

Reports suggest that the heroine of Dirty Picture Sakath Hot Maga could not make it to the press meet in Bangalore on May 18 since the CBI wanted her to be present at their Bangalore office.

Director Trishul also stated that she could not make it to the press meet as Indian visa norms require Pakistani nationals to procure permits for every state they visit in the country. Apparently, producer Venkatappa lost almost Rs 6,50,000 because of Veena’s absence.

When contacted, Veena denies the “visa issue.” She says: “I have never had any (visa) problems. I am staying and working in India like any decent citizen. I don’t know where such reports come from.”

Tell Veena that her director has confirmed these issues and she shoots back: “Before shooting at any location, you have to go through a legal procedure. If they aren’t getting permissions to shoot, it’s not because of Veena Malik.”
