After a couple of A-listers from Bollywood have made their way into the various Madame Tussauds Wax Museums across the world, actor Vinay Pathak will be immortalised in wax today.
But his statue won’t be placed anywhere near Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s look-alikes at the museum. His figure, which resembles his character Bharat Bhushan from the
series, will be placed at PVR Cinema at
High Street Phoenix,

discreetly got it prepared and decided to present it to Vinay as a surprise. 'Bharat Bhushan from
is one of India’s most iconic funny characters. He’s a superstar in his own way. So, we decided to make it extremely memorable for the man who brought him to life,' he adds.
However, the debutant producer from Watch Tower Films refuses to get into more details of the statue, pointing out that it would kill the suspense for Vinay. 'We’ve just told him to arrive at a said time at PVR, Phoenix Mills. He doesn’t know what our
little present for him is. Nevertheless, he is very excited,' says Mukul.
Representatives from Madame Tussauds usually make several visits to meet and measure the subjects of their wax models.
So how did the producer and his team keep the exercise under wraps?
'We have a lot of footage of Vinay from the film. So, it was easy to decide the most striking pose. We’ve used one of his outfits from the movie because the statue is a replica of his character,' informs Mukul.
