Quebec pranksters revealed on Monday that they jokingly convinced actor Charlie Sheen to star in a sequel to the Oscar-winning silent film, The Artist.

A Montreal radio personality pretended to be the film’s award-winning actor, Jean Dujardin, and spoke to Sheen over the phone. “Thank you for considering me, that’s very sweet,” Sheen had said, thinking it all to be real.
