Rihanna is constantly being linked to somebody or the other including her ex-flame Chris Brown, but the R&B star says her love life is pretty much non-existent as she doesn't let people in.

Rihanna is constantly being linked to somebody or the other including her ex-flame Chris Brown, but the R&B star says her love life is pretty much non-existent as she doesn't let people in.

The 24-year-old singer said she is open to hanging out but doesn't want to let them get too close, reported People magazine. "I have been conservative in my love life... it's pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I'll hang out. But the minute I find that we're getting too close I just — I don't let people in," said Rihanna.

"When I was in love, I fell so hard... The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I'd feel that pain in my life. I'm afraid of feeling that again," she added.

In 2009, Rihanna was assaulted by her then-boyfriend Brown and sustained visible injuries. The domestic violence case generated much press and Brown was ordered to stay fifty yards away from Rihanna.
