Robbie Williams is so set on moving to sunny Los Angeles before the winter sets in that he is selling his Brit country mansion at a 1 million pounds loss.

Williams, 35, had paid nearly 8.5 million pounds for the 18th century Compton Bassett House, which has a helicopter hangar, temples and fountains, in February.

But he has now asked his estate agent to slash the price in order to make a quick sale so he and his actress girlfriend Ayda Field, 30, can be in LA in time for Christmas.

"Robbie is desperate to get things moving quickly rather than hang around just to get a bit more money," the Sun quoted a source as saying.

"Being settled back in the States quickly with Ayda is more important to him. He’s already got a few people interested in the mansion," the source added.
