Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been together for ages now, so it’s no surprise their wardrobes have started to sync up. Can we just take a moment to applause the cool duo of black jackets from the pair, spotted on Wednesday? And then check out few other times the couple indulged in coordinated outfits?

Love your partner enough to sync your outfits? Of course you do!

If his-and-her’s dressing is your thing, take some inspiration from actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, who’ve frankly nailed perfect couple’s dressing. The queen and king of matchy-matchy, and actually the royal couple of black outfits, made heads turn with their similar looks, and crucially, matching accessories on Wednesday.

It’s been a couple of days since the couple brought in Abhishek’s birthday in Austria, and after their brief holiday, the duo, touched down in Mumbai, accompanied by their daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. And soon enough, they sparked a fashion conversation by stepping out in cool, coordinated looks.

For Aishwarya, this meant a baby pink silk camisole with a black blazer for a more louche take, a prim Christian Louboutin tote with leopard print details, and black shoes. The forever hair crush took her burgundy mane to a new level with thick, glossy and voluminous waves.

Abhishek kept things stylish-yet-relaxed in a dark hoodie with a simple tee, distressed denim and orange sneakers. Meanwhile, daughter Aaradhya swapped her pink outfits with a layered look featuring an apple green and white ensemble, a denim shirt dress and sneakers.

But apart from the twinning black jackets, it was Aishwarya-Abhishek’s sunglasses game that stole the show: Brown shades grounded Aishwarya’s ensemble, while Abhishek’s blue aviators provided the finish to his easy-going look.

In fact, Aishwarya and Abhishek’s matchy-matchy outfits might have practically kick-started a much-loved A-List couples’ trend. Six times the couple showed they love a good co-ordinated outfit. (IANS and PTI photos)

Dressed to the nines, Aishwarya and Abhishek certainly put their best (twinning) foot forward to celebrate the festival of lights in October, 2016. While Ash was seen in a heavily sequinned Manish Malhotra ensemble, Abhishek complemented her with his embroidered pale-hued kurta.

For one of India’s most famous make-up artists Mickey Contractor’s birthday in January, 2018, Aishwarya was seen in nothing but another form-flattering black ensemble. The actor dazzled in a Shahab Durazi sari.

Abhishek and Aishwarya made several heads turn when they made their way to friend and fashion designer Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday bash in December, 2016. Ash looked radiant in white and gold and hubby Abhishek too chose a white jacket, complementing her.

Aishwarya was in her usual fashion uniform of black — a fitted dress, knee-high boots and a Louboutin bag — while Abhishek coordinated in a black leather jacket thrown over a white T-shirt, when they left for their holiday in February, 2018.
