Many admit they are “in denial” about winter weight gain, the study claimed, reports The Sun. Nineteen per cent of 1,000 women quizzed admitted squeezing into the wrong-sized outfits. However, 54 per cent said they will diet to fit old outfits rather than go up a size.

The poll dubbed the behaviour Seasonal Wardrobe Syndrome.
