Even khadi is in demand, with girls wearing khadi shorts, dresses, and jumpsuits,” says designer Bharat Grover. Other hits are Gandhi’s round rimmed glasses, tees and caps and even diaries like the one by PlayClan. “The demand for Gandhi-inspired items is on a high,” says Aditya Kapur, owner, Party Hunterz. Tee labels such as Tantra and Zazzle.com also report high sales of their Gandhi lines.
