Pakistani model Ayyan (she uses her first name), who was in the city at the recently-concluded Lifestyle Pakistan exhibition was excited on her first visit to India. “I’m so excited to be here. I want to see Goa, I’ve heard it’s fantastic. I love Indian food too. I want to try Delhi’s dal makhani and butter chicken, and also masala dosa before I leave,” she says.

All of 19, Ayyan is already a big name in the Pak fashion world, and is the brand ambassador of brands such as Honda, Gul Ahmed, Coca Cola, Calvin Klein, Samsung and Sunsilk.



The model says she would love to walk the ramp for Indian designers. "I’m a big fan of Manish Malhotra. He comes out with something fabulous in every show," she says. Ayyan, who is also a movie buff, says that she can’t get enough of Bollywood movies.



"Bollywood movies instantly lift up your mood, they’re so entertaining and well made. What I like the most about Bollywood is that it respects talent," says Ayyan, who is a big fan of actor Kareena Kapoor, and says she would love to act in Bollywood movies. "If I get an opportunity, I would love to act in an Indian film," says the model, whose favourite Indian films include Jab We Met and Devdas."
