What’s a cocktail party without some glitz, glamour and shimmer? And if that’s your brief for your wedding party, then look no further than these stunning pieces from Falguni and Shane Peacock’s latest collection. The designer duo killed it at their debut couture show at the Hindustan Times and Sunil Sethi Design Alliance’s India Couture Week 2018 on Thursday.

Showstopper Kareena Kapoor Khan added the perfect mix of glam and shine in a shimmering gold lehenga. The collection saw some dazzling skirts, lehengas with long trains, a bodycon jumptsuit and gowns in shades of gold, silver, dust rose, cream and copper.

We pick the top 6 outfits that you can rock at your cocktail party.

Designers Falguni and Shane Peacock are known for their signature feather detailing, and this collection too had a fair bit of dramatic feathers at cuffs, on gowns and in dupattas paired with shiny lehengas. The plunging neckline in the shiny black gown is perfect for the bold and beautiful bride. These outfits are perfect if you’re looking to channel your inner Beyonce or Lady Gaga for your cocktail party.

The pink dress with feather detailing is perfect for the bold bride who knows she’s here to have some fun. We also love the gold gown with applique work all over for a more traditional bride. In fact, the entire collection can easily translate to pre-wedding and post-wedding party outfits, thanks to the bold use of metallic hues and shimmering details.

India Couture Week, presented by Hindustan Times and Sunil Sethi Design Alliance, will be on from July 25 to July 29, in Delhi.
