Imran launches his clothing line

Actor Imran Khan has turned fashion designer and his signature line will be out next year. The 28-year-old actor will be creating his range in association with Denizen, a brand recently launched by denim giants Levi Strauss.

Actor Imran Khan has turned fashion designer and his signature line will be out next year. The 28-year-old actor will be creating his range in association with Denizen, a brand recently launched by denim giants Levi Strauss. The Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na star says that his clothing line is a joint effort that will extensively reflect his personal style statement.



"I’m particular about my association with any brand. This new line has my personal touch. It’s me in every way, is casual and comfortable. The cuts, patterns and colours are my choice," says Imran, at the launch of one of the aforementioned brand’s flagship stores. When asked for quick summer wear tips, the newly-married actor says, "Wear light clothes, choose light jeans over heavier ones. Linen shirts are a must in the closet. And no boots please, just stick to chappals."

Aaron Boey, global president of Denizen says, "It’s a synergic partnership. Imran has an effortless style statement. He dresses in tune with the trend, and people can relate with his way of dressing up. We wanted to be associated with someone fresh and young since our target customers are youngsters."



The actor’s next, Delhi Belly, produced by his uncle, actor Aamir Khan, will release on July 1, alongside Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Bbuddahh-Hoga Tera Baap, produced by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan. Imran is also looking forward to his romantic comedy of sorts, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, where he plays Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar’s younger brother who falls for his fiancé, played by Katrina Kaif.
