Natalie Glebova, who won the title of Miss Universe in 2005 announced her engagement to Thai tennice ace Pardom Srichaphen in the fairy tale surroundings of the ballroom at the Sukhothai Hotel, a Bangkok retreat deemed one of Asia's Top 5 Hotels by the readers of Travel & Leisure magazine.
The lovebirds, who met in September 2006, are expected to tie the knot around November-December this year.
The very first time the public saw the two together was last year when she kissed Paradorn as a reward for beating Tim Henman in the quarter-finals of the Thailand Open, which she attended as Singha’s brand ambassador.
The give-away clues about their relationship came in February, when they admitted they were “special” friends. The Srichaphans have given the beauty queen the Thai name Piangfah and the nickname Fah, while Srichapan the tennis ace, “Ball”.
Netalie is currently reisiding in Thailand.
