If you are fond of bling, the India International Jewellery Week in Mumbai is a must-visit destination.
It’s time to celebrate the love for traditional jewellery at its best. The India International Jewellery Week (IIJW), organised by the Gem and Jewellery Promotion Council (GJEPC) is about to start from today, July 31 and will be on till August 4, at the Grand Hyatt, Mumbai.

This is the second edition of IIJW and Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor is the brand ambassador of the exhibition, which will see the creations of 27 Indian and international design houses. Considered as one of Asia’s biggest jewellery week, the event will see a number of glamourous models participating and many other Bollywood biggies, who will grace the event.

Rajiv Jain, Chairman of GJEPC, says, “After the tremendous success of the first India International Jewellery Week, the stage is now set for this year, when it will be bigger in grandeur with amazing exciting talents and creativity displayed for the Indian and International market. It’s a historic event for the jewellery industry. IIJW will go down as a milestone event in the establishment of this industry as a design destination in Jewellery.”
Delhi jewellery designer Alpana Gujral is one of the participants at the event. Her collection this year, The Enchanted Garden, is all about traditional meenakari in contemporary designs. Other participants include Amprapali, Gehna jewellers, Gitanjali group, Tanishq, Rosily Paul, amongst others.
