The only time England have beaten Brazil in a World Cup for men or boys was in the 2007 edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup. Brazil avenged it in 2015 but having achieved what the men have not in four meetings spread from 1958, the England boys are eyeing an encore in Kolkata today.

Earlier, the match had been shifted from Guwahati due to unplayable conditions caused by incessant rains.

Both the third-place play-off, as well as the final of the tournament, are scheduled to be held in Kolkata on Saturday.
