Iraq come into the FIFA U-17 World Cup as champions of Asia, having witnessed a resurgence in youth football in recent years. Mexico remain a powerhouse of North America and they too booked their flights to India courtesy of winning the CONCACAF U-17 championships. The game saw two champion sides clash in what was a hard-fought fixture which saw the points shared.
