Paraguay took an early lead against New Zealand but fell find to two Alexis Durate own goals in the first half. In the second half though the South Americans rallied back to retake the lead. Substitute Anibal Vega with both the Paraguay second and third goal. The lead was extended when Blas Armoa scored a fourth to add a mot more shine to the scoreline.The result means Paraguay are now top of Group B with six points followed by Mali who are on three points.
