Neymar ‘ready’ to make Paris Saint-Germain debut
Neymar switched from FC Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain in a record deal.
Neymar said he was fit and ready to make his Paris Saint-Germain debut on Saturday in their Ligue 1 opener against Amiens at the Parc des Princes.

The 25-year-old Brazilian arrived in the French capital on Friday after his world-record 222-million-euro ($264m) move from Barcelona.

The forward will be presented to fans before Saturday’s match, but said he could play a part, despite having not yet spoken to PSG coach Unai Emery.

“I always want to play, so I am ready to do so tomorrow,” Neymar said at his unveiling on Friday.
“I have trained in pre-season. I stopped for two days, but I am ready, I’ve seen the pitch and I want to put the PSG shirt on and play.”

Kick-off for the game with newly-promoted Amiens has been delayed by 15 minutes and will now start at 5:15pm (1515 GMT).
