In a shocking case of road rage, an auto-driver abused, assaulted and ran his vehicle over a woman executive, which left her bruised, after a minor accident at Sector 40 on Wednesday.

In a shocking case of road rage, an auto-driver abused, assaulted and ran his vehicle over a woman executive, which left her bruised, after a minor accident at Sector 40 on Wednesday.

The assaulter is yet to be arrested as the terrified victim withdrew her complaint filed at the Sector 40 police station.

According to the 26-year-old victim (whose name has been withheld on request), the driver rammed his auto into her car and when she rebuked him, the rogue driver backed off his vehicle and hit the Zen Estilo car again. Moreover, he showered invectives and assaulted her.

When the victim tried to take a picture of the assaulter with her mobile phone camera, he pulled her out of the car and attacked again.

“When I fainted and fell on the ground, he ran his auto over my hand. Later, when some passersby came to help me, he left his auto behind and ran away,” the victim said.

Adding insult to injury, when the victim approached the local police station to lodge a complaint, she was allegedly dissuaded by the cops.

However, the woman later withdrew her complaint as she was too scared to pursue the case.
