The Gurgaon police on Tuesday busted a gang of carjackers that includes women.

The gang came under police radar after a Dwarka-based property dealer filed a complaint about his car theft. He narrated the incident about how his car was banged by another vehicle on Golf Course Road.
Interestingly, he also said the robbers also took away not just the car but his ‘girlfriend’ too.
The Tuesday arrest unveiled the much-complicated working of the gang.
The modus operandi is rather too conniving. The women in the gang, between the age-group of 20-24, used to target the victim and befriend them.
While the girls made sure that the victim was in their ‘control’, the other members of the gang used to follow the car.
On pretext of going out for lunch or dinner, the girls used to get the victim to drive to a lonely spot.
Other members following the target vehicle used to fake an accident and stage a fight with the victim. Another member would then speed away with the vehicle.
Apart from carjacking the gang is also accused of snatching R1 lakh from a petrol pump owner in Faridabad.
