The committee formed by the Real Estate Development Council (Redco), Haryana chapter, and the Joint Action of Residents Welfare Association (Jafra) will prepare its report before March 8, the Women's Day.

The committee will examine the trial run of Global Gurgaon Helpline -- 9226861111 -- and charter the path towards making women safe and secure in the city.

The committee will look into issues such as sensitizing police and citizens, maintaining a directory of services, organising tour of various localities by leaders of Damini Movement to inspire citizens, and keeping details of security agencies. "Besides, greater attention will be given to the underprivileged," said a member of the committee.
