The Punjab and Haryana High Court had on Wednesday expressed its dissatisfaction over the violation of the Supreme Court ban on construction within the 900-metre radius of the depot.

Six executive engineers along with junior officers, 100 private security guards and two police quick response teams will keep a close watch on any unauthorised construction in the area on a daily basis.

The 900-metre area has been divided into six zones, each of which will be monitored by the respective MCG executive engineer, and who will report to the MCG commissioner every day.

MCG commissioner Vijay Dahiya held a high-level meeting with Gurgaon deputy commissioner PC Meena, district town and country planning department, Huda officials and senior police officials in this regard on Friday. The civic body will also install signboards at several places to inform people about the court ban.
