Verification booths were set up at four places — Beverly Park-I on MG Road, Sector 14, The Close North, Nirvana Country and The Uniworld Garden on Sohna Road.

The helps were asked to provide a photograph, address proof (voter identity card, ration card or Aadhaar card), personal and family details, references from residents and a biometric fingerprint to verify their entry and exit to gated communities.

With regard to several crimes committed by domestic helps in the past, Purnima Dhawan of Beverly Park-1 said, "Residents applaud such drives. It sends out a signal to them that if they commit a crime, they will be punished." Yadvinder Singh, a resident, said, "The police verification took a lot of time. However, such drives with the support from HT are less time-consuming."

On Saturday, the drive was conducted at four gated communities — M2K White House in Sector-57, The Palms apartment complex in South City-I, Parsvnath Green Ville and Vipul Greens on Sohna Road.

Nearly 200 maids were verified as part of the campaign.
