Devender Singh, chairman and managing director of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) asked Gurgaon's superintending engineer Sanjiv Chopra to conduct a survey in all developers colony.

“The developers have not set up additional sub-stations, which they had to do as per the condition of the agreement with the Haryana Town Planning department. But population has increased manifold in the past two decades,” said a member of Gurgaon Citizens' Council (GCC).
