The doctor runs his clinic in DT Mega Mall in DLF City, Phase 1.

On Wednesday, the mall management disconnected the power supply of his clinic as he had allegedly not paid the bills since four months.

According to police, the doctor met the manager, Col (Retd) KS Khatana, and said he would soon pay the dues.

But as the power supply did not resume even after his request, the doctor turned furious and went to the manager’s cabin. A verbal altercation followed during which the doctor allegedly landed few jabs on his face.

As he was walking out of the mall, security guards caught hold him and allegedly thrashed him.

“The doctor entered the manager’s cabin, misbehaved with him and even damaged his laptop. He even threw away the sun glasses of a guest sitting in the room,” said Beer Singh, SHO of DLF City (Phase 1)

Complaints from both sides were filed in the police station. However, no case has been filed against anyone as yet.

“It was not a big issue…we cannot supply electricity despite not receiving bills. I am answerable to my management. Though he misbehaved with me, I tried to speak to him. But he was defiant,” Khatana said.
