The Sadar police station had registered a case against Mithlesh, a native of Bihar, on November 12, 2016. He was arrested the same night from the condominium, the police said.
“The court considered the facts and circumstances, coupled with the aggravating factor that a gruesome act was committed by the convict, by which he had put an indelible mark on his personal life, which shall haunt him throughout his life,” the court order stated.
The police, in its charge sheet, stated that he had sodomised him on November 12 inside the residential complex. The man had denied the allegations and accused the victim of falsely implicating him due to the influence of his family.
The victim had been terrified and threatened, and was spotted crying in the house by his mother, after which he narrated his ordeal to her and the incident was reported to police.
