Maruti violence: Main accused arrested
The main accused in the Maruti violence, worker Jiya Lal who had picked up a fight with supervisor Ram Kishore Maji and thrashed him, was arrested by Gurgaon police on Wednesday from Dharuhera.

The main accused in the Maruti violence, worker Jiya Lal who had picked up a fight with supervisor Ram Kishore Maji and thrashed him, was arrested by Gurgaon police on Wednesday from Dharuhera. The tiff had led to arson at the Manesar factory on July 18 and Lal was on the run since then.
DCP Maheshwar Dayal said, “We got a tip-off that he is in Dharuhera and arrested him.”
Meanwhile, representatives of nearly 30 labour unions of the Gurgaon-Manesar-Bawal auto belt will hold a press conference on Thursday.
