The police lodged a case against the two men — Neeraj Kataria and his friend Rohit Dagar — at DLF City Phase 2 police station on Sunday.

According to the police, on Saturday night, the sisters attended a party at a pub on the second floor of DLF Cyber Hub. Around 1am, when they reached the parking, the two men approached them and allegedly tried to befriend them.

When the women asked them to leave, they allegedly got furious and starting abusing the women. One of them caught hold of the younger sister, the police, quoting the women’s complaint, said.

“My sister pushed Kataria away as he was touching her inappropriately. When she resisted, he and his friend starting hitting her. I tried to intervene, but they pushed me away and started making lewd comments,” the elder sister said.

The younger sister suffered minor injuries and the women raised an alarm and also alerted the police.

“The men were drunk. Six months ago, too, they had tried to be friends with us. They saw us again on Saturday and followed us,” one of the women said. By the time the police reached the parking, the two men had fled.

The injured woman was rushed to the hospital and given first-aid. She later lodged a complaint at DLF City Phase 2 police station.

When contacted, Kataria refuted all charges. “I have not visited that place (Cyber Hub) for a long time and I am not even aware of the any such incident. No one has informed me about a case being registered,” he said.

The police have recovered the CCTV footage from the pub and have identified the youths. A case has been registered against the two men.

ACP(DLF) Ramesh Pal said, “The statement of victim was recorded by the duty magistrate under Section 164 CrPC on Sunday. We have formed teams to nab the accused.”
