With monsoon at its peak, the hemlines are rising to beat humidity. But many of us don’t really dare to show our legs due to skin problems such as ingrown hair, tan marks and pigmentation.

With monsoon at its peak, the hemlines are rising to beat humidity. But many of us don’t really dare to show our legs due to skin problems such as ingrown hair, tan marks and pigmentation.

Here are a few easy tips to get legs you’ve always wanted.
If you have ingrown hair, use an orange based scrub twice a day. This will help to remove any dead skin cells, dirt and oils that might be trapping the ingrown hair. Apply a warm, moist compress to the area for a few minutes. This will soften the skin. Wash regularly with warm water and a moisturising soap.
Don’t wear clothes that are too tight. Moisturise your skin regularly and dab cold rose water to close open pores.

Homemade Body Packs:
Cool off: Make a pack of besan, masoor dal and sandalwood powder mixed with raw milk. Apply on your arms and legs for softer, fairer skin.
Nourish: Make a paste of almonds and mix with a few drops of honey. Apply on your arms and legs, let dry and wash off with cold water.
Tone up: Make a skin tonic with rose water, mint leaves and cucumber juice, and apply several times a day.
