It was tough playing Dredd: Karl Urban

Actor Karl Urban, who’ll be seen playing the role of Judge Dredd in the upcoming film, Dredd 3D, had quite a strenuous and tough time getting into the character.

Actor Karl Urban, who’ll be seen playing the role of Judge Dredd in the upcoming film, Dredd 3D, had quite a strenuous and tough time getting into the character. “I don’t think I was quite prepared for how demanding it was. To take away the eyes, such a vital and valuable tool for an actor, forces you to use your body language and voice,” says Urban.

The actor had started to wear Dredd’s suit before the actual shooting. “I got into that suit a couple of weeks before we started filming, so I could get used to moving around in it,” he said.
