Academy award winner Morgan Freeman spoke out in support of former co-star Ben Affleck as he embarks on his role as the new Batman in the upcoming franchise.
In a recent interview for his upcoming movie, Last Vegas, Morgan Freeman lashed out at critics and fans alike asking naysayers to back off and urged people to give the 41-year-old actor a fair chance.
“Listen: Michael Keaton, George Clooney, Val Kilmer, and Christian Bale have played it. It’s a franchise! It’ll stand on its own merits, and you can’t really say anything until he’s done it. The pre-judging was strange. Give him a shot,” he wrote.
