Jennifer Lawrence starrer adventure film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was awarded the Movie of The Year award at MTV Video Music Awards.

The awards show, which was held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, was hosted by Conan O'Brien, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

Lawrence won the Best Female Performance award for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, while her co-star Josh Hutcherson won the Best Male Performance award.

Jonah Hill won the Best Comedic Performance for The Wolf of Wall Street, while the Best On-Screen Transformation award was won by Jared Leto for his performance in Dallas Buyers Club.
