George Clooney insists that the best way to maintain Hollywood friendships is to never cast a pal in a film you are directing.
The actor-turned-moviemaker maintains that it is almost always a bad idea to ask a friend to appear in your film because you might have to eventually cut them out.
"Almost inevitably you’ve sort of changed your judgment to say, ‘Well, they could do this,’ and sort of worked them into something that they’re not right for," Contactmusic quoted him as telling Los Angeles Times.
“You end up probably cutting them out, which is going to give you another terrible conversation you’re going to have later,” he added.
