As India celebrates its 80th Independence Day, celebrities and public figures took to social media to mark the occasion with patriotic messages, Tiranga tributes and reflections on the country’s journey. From Amitabh Bachchan’s signature “Vande Mataram” to Sachin Tendulkar waving the national flag, the celebrations brought together stars from Bollywood, cricket and public life.
