Doordarshan's 66th foundation day celebrations: Delhi gets a date with TV’s OG broadcasters

Celebrations of Doordarshan's 66th Foundation Day saw legendary news presenters such as Salma Sultan and Sadhna Shrivastav come together at an event in Delhi.

Eminent personalities from the world of public broadcasting came together as conversations flowed with nostalgia at the 66th Foundation Day of Doordarshan, held at the Constitution Club of India in Delhi.

Television presenter Jyotsna Rai recalled the era of rooftop antennas and black-and-white TV.

Former news anchor Sadhna Shrivastav, who gained popularity in the ’80s.

Former TV journalist and director Salma Sultan, known for her newsreading style and the signature rose tucked in her hair.
