The fifth game of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 between Australia and Bangladesh at The Oval was abandoned due to steady rain. Earlier, Mitchell Starc’s four-wicket haul and Adam Zampa’s 2/13 restricted Bangladesh to 182. For the Tigers, Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 95. In reply, Australia were 83/1 in 16 overs but rain refused to relent and both teams had to share a point each. Steve Smith’s men will have to win their last group game against England - in order to seal a last four spot. On the other hand, Bangladesh must win their last match against New Zealand and hope the other results go their way.
