Australia bowled well to bundle out Bangladesh for only 182 runs in 44.3 overs after opening batsman Tamim Iqbal scored a brilliant 95. Mitchell Starc was the pick of the Australian bowlers as he ended up with 4/29 from 8.3 overs which also included two maidens. In reply, Australia had started well and were at 83/1 in 16 overs with opener David Warner and captain Steve Smith at the crease when the skies opened up. The rain got heavier and eventually the match had to be abandoned with both sides sharing a point each. Both teams still have a chance of qualifying for the ICC Champions Trophy semifinals.
