Car mows down 10-year-old girl, locals set vehicle on fire in Muzaffarnagar
A 10-year-old girl was crushed to death by a car following which irate locals set the vehicle on fire in Jamianagar locality here, police said today.

A 10-year-old girl was crushed to death by a car following which angered locals set the vehicle on fire at Jamianagar, in Muzaffarnagar, police said on Saturday.
The girl was playing outside her house when the accident happened.
Irate locals then set the car on fire and thrashed the occupants before handing them over to police while the car driver managed to escape.
Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
The girl’s body was sent for postmortem.
